Before school, after school, and during both lunches, the McNicholas Library is buzzing with activity. As the center of the school, it is a favorite place for Rockets, filled with young adult books to meet the preferences of all students. But which books are the best to read? With the help of librarians Mrs. Anne Jones and Mrs. Jane Ray, The Milestone is here to help students find the top 10 checked out books in the library.
- Mocking Jay by Suzanne Collins
The third book in the Hunger Games trilogy, Mocking Jay is divided into three parts: The Ashes, The Assault, and The Assassin. When the book opens, the Arena was destroyed and only three victors could be saved: Finnick, Beetee, and Katniss. The Capitol has captured Peeta, Katniss’ ‘boyfriend’, and she is concerned for his life. District 12 has been destroyed.
