‘What’s in your backpack?’ is a bi-weekly story where students are chosen at random to give the McNicholas Milestone a peek into their lives.
With exams just a week away, backpacks are getting messier. Whether you’re still cleaning your pack from August or it’s all new trash to be cleaned, many students have adapted their backpacks to their personal lifestyles.
From the transition between sports seasons, long days after school, and early mornings, McNicholas students fill their backpacks with necessities like writing tools or items to ensure fresh breath.
This week, senior Lily Bellissemo dives into what was in her backpack and shows the Milestone her love for Extra gum as well as items needed for a physics lab with Mr. Jon Spurlock.
