“What’s in your desk?” is a Milestone feature where McNicholas teachers are chosen at random to see what lurks in their desk beyond ungraded papers and cough drops.
Math and video editing teacher, Mrs. Barb Gillming keeps a special love for her students throughout the years and that is well reflected with the items she has around her desk.
With teaching subjects like math and video editing, there can be many different materials that lie around, but Gillming has a good balance of her teaching and personal valuable items all around her. Although she has many tangible items of importance, she said one of her greatest values is her wonderful students who she keeps a deep care and love for.
