Q: What was your favorite part of teaching at McNick?
A: My favorite part of teaching is interacting with students. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new for the students and for me. Every day is a chance to have conversations, exchange ideas, and laugh!
Q: Why are you leaving McNick?
A: I am leaving McNick simply because it’s the right time. I have enjoyed teaching so much, especially at McNick because my boys went here and the community here is fantastic! I am ready for some new adventures.
Q: What are some of the things you enjoy doing outside of teaching?
A: Outside of teaching, I like hiking trails with my husband, Greg, and my dog Lupe. I am so lucky to have the best Pickleball friends in the world! My absolute favorite thing of all is spending time with my boys, Stefan and Connor.
Q: Do you plan on doing anything specific after you leave or is there anything you’d like to or plan to try? (such as traveling)
A: Last year I went on an amazing trip to the Olympics in Paris, and then on to Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Granada and Seviila in Spain. I hope to travel more in the future. I would love to see Costa Rica. Peru, and Greece. I love the US National Parks, and I am a big tennis fan and would love to go to Wimbledon. So many cool places to see!
Q: Is there anything you would like to add?
A: I am so grateful for my time at McNick. I am going to miss my students and my Foreign Language teaching pals! I plan on being around, especially during Boys’Sspa Volleyball season!
