The National College Fair at Duke Energy Center on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 1-4 p.m. and Future Focus Days at McNicholas on Oct. 3 and 4 are two opportunities for McNicholas upperclassmen to begin sorting through over 4000 colleges to find the school that’s right for them.
The free National College Fair features 200 colleges from all over the country and includes Q&A sessions with representatives, scholarship and finance counseling, and various workshops. Check out the National Association for College Admission Counseling website to sign up and learn more.
During Future Focus Days, juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to attend information sessions on four colleges of interest. Students chose their favorites from the 60+ schools, and the Guidance Department worked to match everyone with four of their picks. Many of the schools are located in or close to Ohio, and will also be featured at the Forest Hills/McNicholas College Fair, held at Nagel Middle School on Monday, Oct. 3 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Students may also want to check out Suburban College Fair at Cincinnati Country Day on Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. or the National Visual and Performing Arts Fair at the UC Tangeman University Center on Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 7-9 p.m.
