A Letter from the Editor

Hey Rockets!

After spending three years on the staff of The Milestone, I can say that I am truly honored to have been able to cover the headlines for such an impressive, spirited, diverse community.  Through my personal reporting and editing of other articles, I am constantly impressed by the accomplishments of our faculty, staff, and students. The McNicholas community is always buzzing with activity and it’s easy to miss out on what certain groups are rehearsing, planning, selling, learning, practicing, preparing, and putting every ounce of passion they have into. My time on this staff has opened my eyes to everything that happens on and off campus, and I hope at least a few of these articles have done the same for you.

With that said, I am proud to pass along the reins to the next Editor-in-Chief, Lauren Fisher. I am confident that she will do an outstanding job leading the staff and they will all keep McNicholas informed with the latest headlines in Rocket news. You may not be hearing any of those headlines for a few months, but be sure to check back at the start of the next school year.  For now, enjoy your summer. Trust me, The Milestone staff has seen how busy you all have been this school year, and we believe that you deserve a break.
