Roving Rocket: Students share their Lenten sacrifices

“Roving Rocket” is a weekly publication in the McNicholas Milestone. In each edition, the Milestone staff poses a question about a current event to the McNicholas student body and publishes responses of one student from each grade level. This week’s question was: “What are you doing for Lent this year?”

booher“I am not eating meat during Lent this year,” – Nicholas Booher, Class of 2020.


hope“I am giving up junk food,” – Hope Bridgers, Class of 2019.







rupp“I am trying to get along with my parents better during Lent,” – Max Rupp, Class of 2018.


mandy“I am giving up sweets. My whole family is doing it and it is going to be hard,” – Mandy Woll, Class of 2017.

Following the assembly, McNick hosted its annual Veterans Day Breakfast to thank veterans and active service-members for their service to the United States.
