Thanksgiving ‘How To’: Chocolate chip pumpkin muffins make the perfect sweet treat

Thanksgiving is celebrated by sitting around a table with family and friends and enjoying time together with the ones you love. Another way to celebrate is by making delicious chocolate chip pumpkin muffins!

These muffins are a quick, easy, and delicious treat. They are homemade and fun to make for a tasty ending to a savory Thanksgiving dinner.

For this Kramer family recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 1 2/3 cups of flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of canned pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup of softened butter
  • 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon of baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 bag of chocolate chips

Once all of the ingredients have been collected, it’s time to begin!

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Combine all ingredients except the chocolate chips. Mix these ingredients together until well blended.

Step 3: Stir in chocolate chips.

Step 4: Pour batter into a greased or lined muffin tin. They should be ¾’s of the way full.

Step 5: Bake them for 25 minutes or until there is no residue on a toothpick that has been stuck into the center of a muffin.

Step 6: Let cool and enjoy!
