As technology has improved so have artificial intelligence programs. Artificial Intelligence is computer intelligence that is hooked with programs such as ChatGPT and Face I.D. A.I. has grown fast in the past few years and is now imbedded in Snapchat and Quizlet as well.
ChatGPT has become one of the more popular A.I. programs that is now with Facebook, Google, and Meta.
“A.I. chatbots are making it a lot easier for students to understand difficult concepts in simple way” Sam Avery, recent graduate of University of Iowa states in a New York Times article.1
A.I. has changed the way students are able to gather information and make it much easier to figure out harder problems in and outside of school.

One major issue with the growing A.I. programs has been students using it to cheat or get answers. With A.I being added on Snapchat, it has given many teenagers access to answers to schoolwork.
“You can simply just ask a robot to analyze a quote and it will do it in a matter of seconds” Emma Nazario, first year student at Wheaton college states in a New York Times article.1
What’s wonderful about A.I. is that it is quick and efficient, but it has allowed students to be lazier by just clicking a button and just getting work done rather than doing it themselves and learning the material.
“Some, including Musk, feared that A.I. would turn dystopian science fiction into reality, with computers becoming smart enough to escape human control” Karen Weise and Cade Metz states in a New York Times article. 2
A.I. is advanced technology that can develop and solve much more difficult problems faster than the human brain can. Considering A.I. made its way into everyday lives this could potentially lead to problems in the future that many people are starting to be concerned about now.
There are companies waiting to see what A.I. will complete with its advantages.
In the long run A.I. is continuing to rapidly advance so no one truly knows what will happen even with all the predictions made.
