Disney World brings magic at any age

Walt Disney World has been warming hearts since 1971, and has affected people of all ages. Many McNicholas students have been to Disney World recently and conclude that Disney World is magical at any age.

Senior Alex Ventre visited Disney World, located in Orlando, Florida, in his sophomore year and thought it was great for all ages. “Disney World is great for all ages because it has attractions for everyone,” Ventre said. “There are so many things to do, including rides and different shows to go to.”

Disney World is broken up into four parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Among the four parks, there are approximately 43 rides and 35 shows to see.

Sophomore Wade Kennedy attended every park in October 2013. He loved the atmosphere of Disney and was never bored. “There are so many different things to do and anyone can have fun there no matter what age they are,” Kennedy said.

A trip to Walt Disney World is memorable and worthwhile. A one day ticket for Magic Kingdom is $95 for ages 10 and up, and for the other three parks, a one day ticket is $90 for ages 10 and up. To buy tickets click here.

Junior Nicole Geygan enjoyed going with her family over the summer of 2013. Being there with family made the trip memorable. “Disney World is a fun and beautiful place to have a good time and get away with your family and friends,” Geygan said.
