The Father-Son Breakfast for McNicholas, hosted by the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), will be held on Sunday, Jan. 31. The event will feature a full breakfast and a guest speaker.
Father-Son Breakfast organizer Mrs. Julie Mayer said, “The Father-Son Breakfast is a special morning for McNick guys to share a meal, hear a great speaker, and compete for cool door prizes.”
The PTSA has been putting on the Father-Son Breakfast since 2006, and this year will be no different. Invitations for the event were mailed in the first week of January to McNicholas families, but information can also be found on the McNicholas website.
This year’s featured speaker, Kerry Byrne is not only the president of TQL but also a McNicholas Graduate of the Class of 1983. Byrne is one of the many people behind Project Paradise, a program which has drastically altered the McNicholas landscape over the past seven years.
“Attendees will hear about Mr. Byrne’s journey from McNick student to husband, father, and leader of one of Cincinnati’s highest revenue grossing companies. [Attendees will also hear] why he’s still proud to be a Rocket and the future he envisions for our school’s future,” Mayer said.
“It’s one of those things the guys walk away from saying ‘I’m really glad we made time to attend this event’,” Mayer added.
