Roving Rocket: Students share what they love about McNick

“Roving Rocket” is a weekly publication in the McNicholas Milestone. In each edition, the Milestone staff poses a question about a current event to the McNicholas student body and publishes responses of one student from each grade level. This week’s question was: “What do you love about McNicholas High School?”

brianna“I like the fun things we do, like the cookie cakes in the café; that was cute, and the one online [dating] test we took. That was pretty funny, because everyone laughed at their results.” —Brianna Taylor, Class of 2020.

cooper“I really enjoy the friends I have; they’re all really nice and have great personalities.” — Cooper Billies, Class of 2019.



lauren“It’s such a great community and everyone’s so kind, and the teachers care genuinely about their job.” — Lauren Steinkuhl, Class of 2018.

raymond“I really like how many different people there are here. There is a lot of different people that are interested in different things and a lot of different opportunities. You can do whatever you want. There’s a lot of freedom in sports and classes that you can take, so everyone’s doing their own thing, and that’s pretty exciting.” — Raymond Bretland, Class of 2017.
