November 21 concluded McNicholas’15th annual canned food drive.  Throughout the years, McNick’s food drive has been very successful because of nearly 100% participation.

The non-perishable food donations benefit Hope Emergency and YWCA Emergency Assistance Program. Service Club holds the food drive around the holidays to assist families who need extra help, especially for Thanksgiving.

“I love donating to the canned food drive because I know that I am helping the less fortunate around Thanksgiving time so families living in poverty can have something to eat,” said Service Club member Michelle Rowekamp.

Members of Service Club along with moderator Mr. Sam Roflow delivered the donations to the food pantries after school on Nov. 25                                    .
